Attention Chatters...Here are the rules!

OK for some of you this will be a basic review, with a twist. If you are new to a chat, then this will be VERY informative for you.

The chats will now be held in the Limited Tyme Chat room. To gain access you need go to select "Go" then "Limited Tyme" then "Matt Beck Chat".

We recommend you go into the Limited Tyme Main Chat room prior to the chat.

On the day of the chat the main room will be closed and only those who have RSVP'd will be allowed into the chat with Matt

The newest rule to the chat is that SPACE IS LIMITED! During a non-scheduled chat the max is 20 people. When we have a chat I will open the room up to more people. In saying that the Chats will be on a RSVP type basis. This means that when we announce the chats you NEED to let us know if you are going to attend. The chat's will be restricted to members of the board that have expressed interest.

Once you say you want to attend you will be added to the list of people that can get into the chat room. You mus RSVP no later than 11.29.07 for a guaranteed spot. After that you will be granted access if there is room available.

On the other side of that if you say you are going to be there and don't show, you will be restricted from attending the future chats. We have a lot of people that want to attend and if you are taking up a space they can not get in.

If you RSVP and change your mind then just let us know within 3 hours of the chat. That way we can free your spot.

OK moving on. Here are the rules!

1. You MUST be a registered member of the board to participate.

2. Each artist will have their own do's and don’ts of the chat. I will list them as I get them.

3. There will be a transcript if you miss the chat!

4. All question HAVE to be submitted prior to the chat. This is so that the artist can approve what is being asked.

5. Participation is a MUST! I mean that's why you are there right. So respond and talk during the chat, just please refrain from asking questions that aren't on the list.

6. DO NOT try to start a private conversation with the artist. It will distract them from the chat.

7. DO have a private chat with others on the board when you are talking about non-topic stuff.

8. KEEP ALL SIDE CONVERSATIONS ON THE SIDE! That goes back to rule number 5!

10. Technical difficulties happen. Abby and I will list our Yahoo and Aim I.D's on chat day. You can PM us too. So far there hasn't been a technical difficulty I haven't been able to work through yet!


Artist Do's and Don'ts

Matt....No personal questions about family or artist. He will answer All music questions. Want to know about the tour, musicians he plays with? Ask away! Want to know what Rob Thomas does on his free time? Not happening!

The chat will last as long as Matt has time. It can be an hour or three, so grab some popcorn and your favorite beverage!
