Matt_Beck: he's in Rod Stewart's band

Matt_Beck: he actually is the one responsible for actually getting me to get off my ass and start recording

Matt_Beck: he heard a few of my ideas and really likied em

Matt_Beck: Dave was the drummer in the band ABC

Matt_Beck: i have one song where i used Ari Hest's rhythm section (Rob Calder, from Break n Repair's NY show)
Matt_Beck: and Dan Hickey from ari's live band
Matt_Beck: oh, and 1 song with a string quartet (ll done by Stevie Blacke)
Mom Beck: You know that I love Rob Calder's musical feelings
Matt_Beck:oh, and James Katz's cat max sings on one song too

Prezent: this album is definitely going to be intriguing.

Matt_Beck: there's a lots of down tempo moody stuff on it so far

Shirlise:How did that tour come about
Matt_Beck: Rod's tour came about from a phone call I got from my friend Conrad (Rod's bassist)
Matt_Beck: Rod was putting together a new tour and was doing only rock, no standards
Matt_Beck: so they had a great jazz pianinst they didnt need anymore
Matt_Beck: they wanted someone who could do both keys and guitar

Matt_Beck: Rod and Rob were really different kinds of tours

Matt_Beck: Touring with Rob was so great cause it was Rob's 1st tour alone and we got to be his 1st band ever outside of mb20
Matt_Beck: it felt real important like
Matt_Beck: like we really help contribute to his success

Prezent: I think that you would have contributed to his solo success Matt, if he didn't like touring with you guys it would have been a nightmare and he wouldn't have been able to perform as well.

Matt_Beck: one night I decided to make my hair look like Rods, so when he came out for the 1st song he'd see me and just lose it
