Boogie has graced the stage with live performances with Rob Thomas, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Joe, Leala James, Carrie Underwood, Gavin DeGraw, Toby Lightman, Prince and many, many more!!! I can't believe he's only 24!!!

The Boogie man plays several instruments but the Bass is his main instrument.
Boogie is married with no children.
Boogie was born and raised in Bronx, NY.
Boogie was a music major in college with a focus on jazz performance.
Boogie is also a producer focusing on R&B, POP and Jazz music tracks.

There are rumors that Boogie will be one of the featured artists in a short film about young up and coming musicians from the New York area. There is also talk about a feature article in Bass Player magazine. Rumor also has it that Al "Boogie" is in talks with the music powers that be to put a "young, hip" jazz band together where he would be featured. Wow. Awesome info Rockie. I have been an Al Carty fan for a while but never knew that much professional info. He's a good guy. My boyfriend is also a bass player and really LOVES Al's playing and his humble spirit. We talked to him after one of the shows and he was SOOO nice and helpful. He even had suggestions to help my boyfriends playing. We went to 5 of Rob's shows and his bass solo's were awesome!!! We wish him the best. Good things definitely happen to good people and he's a good person. Does he have a website? My boyfriend and I would love to keep up with his professional growth in the industry. By the way I'm digging the message board about the other Rob Thomas musicians. I LOVE ROB THOMAS!!! Did I say I LOVE ROB>>>>lol!

Cool info. I sure wish we had a fan site to really follow Al as he seems to be involved with a lot of the stars in the industry. When he plays the bass you feel like your insides are turned upside down....in a good way. Good luck in your endeavors Mr. Boogie and tell your wife hello from all of us in LA....she's so sweet.
